Artem Kharchenko is a historian, lecturer at the Kharkiv I.P.Kotlyarevsky National University of Arts, and an affiliated researcher at the Center for Urban History of East Central Europe (Lviv).
He has been engaged in international scholarly projects, including “Anthropocene and War,” “Ukrainian History, Global Initiative,” and “Documenting Experiences of War.” From 2019 to 2023, he served as a lecturer on Holocaust history within the university partnership program of the Claims Conference. He participated in educational programs in the United States, France, and Germany, and was a visiting researcher at the Simon Dubnow Institute for Jewish History and Culture in Leipzig, the New Europe College in Bucharest, and the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
