Exhibition “Modernism in Ukraine – Modern Roots and Heritage of Kharkiv and Lviv”

On July 16, 2025, Nataliia Ivanova and Sergiy Posokhov, the co-coordinators of the project “CITY AND WAR 2.0”, visited the exhibition “Modernism in Ukraine – Modern Roots and Heritage of Kharkiv and Lviv”, currently on display at the KharkivMediaHUB Gallery.
The exhibition is part of an international platform dedicated to researching and promoting modernist architecture in Eastern Europe. In Kharkiv, the exhibition is hosted at Derzhprom – an architectural heritage site that has been damaged several times as a result of Russian shelling since 24 February 2022.
The exhibition features panels that showcase outstanding examples of modernist architecture in Ukraine, present the history of their creation, and highlight their significance within the context of urban cultural heritage.
